KILEN MURPHY
Half Irish / Half Wedding Wizard
Wuuuut up! Before weddings I was on the opposite end of the spectrum in the corporate world. I was with a company for five years and during my tenure I sold $11 million dollars of high end fitness equipment. I was actively involved in new hire training for sales reps. I also prepared students at the collegiate level for both the regional and national sales competition.
When I switched from the corporate world into photography, I quickly realized most photographers have the creative side down, but are often lacking and struggling on the business side! My goal here is to help you break down the business wall step by step. Between your marketing, the way you approach and talk with couples. Building rapport with your clients and so much more! All of these areas are crucial and will define who you are as a business owner!

When I moved to Portland, a pretty saturated market, I knew absolutely no one! Less than half a year later I had managed to both kickstart an incredible business and build a strong network of vendors and clients!
At the time I had maybe 1000 followers to my name on Instagram aka that was definitely not where I had the most pull. I want to teach you guys how to expand the avenues you invest time in from Pinterest to Facebook, album sales, blogging, and more because in a world where Instagram seems to be a game of algorithms there are other things that will drive your success.
